VersaTrigger design and manufacture a wide range of high speed camera trigger systems allowing you to trigger your camera from light activation, sound, laser beam break or motion.

There is no need to keep pressing buttons to select an option, just connect a sensor and off you go.

We have a wide range of accessories including:

Our other designs include:

  •  The Shutter a device which will measure the true shutter lag of your DSLR/mirrorless camera
  •  Two advanced laser beam break traps (Laser Trap & Laser X Trap)

Designed and manufactured in Britain by an electronics engineer to meet the demanding requirements of a photographer (his wife), all VersaTrigger equipment is affordable, easy to use, expandable and reliable.

But what really sets us apart from others is that we listen to our users and design to their needs, we don’t use technology for “technology’s sake” and you don’t need a smartphone for any of our products which means that VersaTrigger systems will not become obsolete when you upgrade your mobile contract.

Currently in use, by both amateur and professional photographers, from Newton Abbot to

New Zealand, we have exhibited at

the 2016, 2017 & 2018 Photography Shows at the NEC.

Our Flickr page has some images taken by VersaTrigger users and ideas on using the system (these usually involve breaking things).

Alan has a YouTube channel (chappers’ photography) and has produced an excellent video showing how to get up and running in 10 minutes with the VersaTrigger system, well worth a look.

And, of course, the Phillip McCordall High Speed Photography video on YouTube.

Mitch at gingerboar has written a really good introduction to high-speed photography, take a look at his hackingphotography article.

VersaTrigger is completely self-funded and does not rely on any

crowd-funding which means that the product is already designed, is in stock and

(more importantly) it works.

Finally, we have no involvement or connection with

drum triggers - whatsoever!

High speed photography is the science of taking pictures of very fast phenomena.

Or, you can forget the science, invest in the VersaTrigger system, and

start having fun!
